There's an article, which can be read HERE, that says that it's possible that single Black mothers are actually creating MORE single mothers. How? Well, according to the author, single moms, by being strong and behaving as though it's business as usual when father's leave the home, actually are giving their children the impression that they don't need fathers in the home. This, however, is not true. But since kids perceive this, they end up perpetuating it when they become adults.

What's your opinion? Single moms, what's your take? Fathers, any insight?

There's an article (which can be read HERE) that says that there are three types of Black men. The different types are as follows:

#1 – Those That Do Positive Things and Make a Positive Mark On The World

#2 – Those That Don’t Do Crap Themselves but Complain Freely About What You Don’t Do

#3 – Those That Are Toxic, Control Freaks and Guilt/Hate Mongers

According to the author, the population of Black men is divided among these types. She estimates that 25% of Black men fall into category #1, 25% fall into category #2, and the remaining 50% fall into category #3!  She states that the men in category #1 and #2 are already taken, and that is the dilemma for Black women. What's your take on the author's assertions?
